Soup is a Sunday tradition in our house. During the winter months (and sometimes summer), you will find soup in the crock pot or on our stove top almost every Sunday. The internet and pinterest are my best friend when it comes to finding new recipes. I find the recipes, modify if needed (I’m picky and don’t care for ground meat or tons of tomatoes! It’s a texture thing!), and share my results. I am not a chef, nor am I talented in the kitchen, so these recipes are accessible to everyone.
Sundays are normally lazy days in our house. Soups make for easy, warm dinners at the end of the low-key days. It’s nice to end each weekend with a stress-free warm meal.
I hope these recipes will warm up your house too!
Cheesy Chicken Vegetable Chowder
Chicken Corn Chowder with Avocado
Chop Suey (my grandma’s recipe) – technically not a soup!
Hearty Chicken Stew with Butternut Squash and Quinoa
Lightened-up Creamy Chicken Noodle
