This year I’m making a conscious effort to live my words, breathing room. Every day I want to make sure I bring this to my life. Over conversation with a friend, we decided the best way to be intentional about our words was to take time to capture these moments. As I collected the photos I had already taken in January that symbolized my moments of breath, I noticed a theme: nature, family, and running. These snapshots, these moments of breath, are my gratitude practice for this year.
“You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment. Fools stand on their island of opportunities and look toward another land. There is no other land; there is no other life but this.” ~Henry David Thoreau
Next month I will have twenty eight photos to share: twenty eight moments of breathing room, twenty eight moments of intentional living, twenty eight moments of gratitude.
